Ethereum staking rose to a record 43.8 million ETH, equal to 35.9% of the token's total supply.
According to a report released by crypto asset manager Bitwise on Oct. 20, the amount of Ether staked reached an all-time high of 43.8 million ETH.
Staking yields, however, declined. The number of validators on the Ethereum network also fell.
The Bitwise report showed that while the amount of Ether deposited in staking increased, yields and validator numbers both moved lower.
