Ondo Finance Launches 7 Tokenized Portfolios on Solana

Real-world asset platform Ondo Finance launched seven tokenized portfolio products on the Solana blockchain.

Ondo announced on Oct. 29 that it had added Solana support for Ondo Intelligent Portfolios. The products are available to eligible investors in approved jurisdictions outside the US.

The lineup includes three income-focused portfolios, two growth portfolios and two thematic portfolios. The thematic offerings include one portfolio combining the Magnificent Seven with digital assets and another investing in leading artificial intelligence companies. Three of the seven products are run using portfolio strategies BlackRock developed for Ondo.

The underlying assets are tokenized stocks and exchange-traded funds from Ondo Stocks that are backed by actual securities. Asset allocation and fee processing are embedded in smart contracts, while rebalancing takes place on a preset schedule under predefined rules. The structure is designed to reduce the burden on investors of buying each component asset individually or adjusting weightings themselves.

According to the company, the same product lineup previously launched on Ethereum and BNB Chain surpassed $45 million in total value locked within weeks of the start of trading. Ondo said Ondo Intelligent Portfolios had grown into the largest on-chain portfolio product.

Portfolio holdings, weightings and rebalancing records can be checked on-chain. Tokens can be transferred 24 hours a day and integrated with supported decentralized finance applications.

Ondo plans to add more portfolio types to broaden investor choice.
