Quack AI, an AI agent infrastructure company, is moving to expand treasury-management functions built on its Q402 payment protocol. The company aims to let AI agents handle payments, stablecoin deployment, recurring payouts and conditional settlement under user-defined rules.
Quack AI on Oct. 30 released a teaser video for what it called "Agentic Finance." The video highlighted four functions: yield deployment, treasury management, escrow settlement and data-driven execution. The push would link treasury and fund-management capabilities to Q402's existing payment functions.
Q402 supports stablecoin payments across 12 Ethereum Virtual Machine, or EVM, mainnets. Fees are paid from a prepaid "gas tank," so agents do not need to hold separate gas tokens for each chain. Agent wallets can also be set with daily spending limits, while settlement records remain on-chain as signed receipts that can be independently verified.
Quack AI already operates some of the functions needed for treasury management. These include yield routing that allocates idle stablecoins to lending markets on BNB Chain and Base, recurring payments that can be canceled before execution, and batch payouts that allow funds to be sent to as many as 20 recipients with a single signature.
The system can also handle conditional transactions. Its escrow function releases payment when delivery conditions are met and issues a refund if a deadline passes. Quack AI also offers a feature that executes trades when preset conditions tied to RedStone data feeds are met. AI tools that support the Model Context Protocol, or MCP, including Claude, Codex, Cursor and Cline, can use those functions by connecting to a dedicated MCP server.
"Agentic Finance is about AI agents generating yield, managing funds and settling transactions based on conditions, all within rules set by humans," a Quack AI official said. The company added that it would soon unveil the next step built on top of the payment layer established by Q402.
