Forecast Trend Report by Period

Kaia is telling existing staking users to move their deposited KAIA to a new contract as it shifts to a permissionless structure that will allow anyone to participate in network operations.
In a blog post on Nov. 6, Kaia said KAIA deposited under the existing Public Delegation program must be migrated to a new staking contract. The transition will include the introduction of the new staking contract and a network hard fork.
Deposited KAIA will not be moved automatically. Users must submit a withdrawal request, wait seven days, retrieve their KAIA and then deposit it again into the new staking contract.
To make the process easier, Kaia plans to add a separate "Migration" menu to the Kaia Portal. There, users will be able to check their current staking status and move KAIA to the new contract of the same Governance Council, or GC, to which they had previously delegated.
Withdrawal requests will open on Nov. 17. Withdrawals and redeposits into the new contract will begin on Nov. 26, and each withdrawal request will be subject to a seven-day waiting period.
Kaia will release detailed instructions on Nov. 13. For CR Mission 1 participants, records recognizing contributions to existing KAIA staking will remain unchanged if they complete the migration on schedule.
