Summary

  • Bloomingbit and STAT have announced that they will create a reliable online community through collaboration with World ID.
  • The certified World ID can safely connect global identity and financial networks and prevent spam attacks.
  • The two companies plan to strengthen cooperation to expand a transparent blockchain ecosystem.

Bloomingbit, a blockchain subsidiary of the Hankyung Media Group, and the virtual asset (cryptocurrency) information service platform STAT have announced on the 18th that they will continue their collaboration on the World Network protocol 'World ID', which is based on human proof. Bloomingbit introduced the 'World ID' feature last month to create a more trustworthy online community by opening a new community function with STAT.

The World Network (formerly Worldcoin) aims to develop a highly reliable solution to distinguish between humans and artificial intelligence (AI) and to create a global identity and financial network. By using the certified 'World ID', which is issued by taking an iris photo with the advanced camera 'Orb', it is possible to safely connect the global financial system and prevent online issues such as bots and spam attacks. By integrating World ID through the developer API, Bloomingbit and STAT aim to solve problems like fake accounts, spam, and malicious users that commonly occur on existing platforms, creating a space where genuine users can communicate.

Bloomingbit, STAT, and Tools for Humanity, the operator of World ID, plan to strengthen mutual cooperation in various fields even after the introduction of World ID, and to promote the expansion of a transparent blockchain ecosystem both domestically and internationally.

Kim Sanha, CEO of Bloomingbit, said, "I am pleased to be able to create a transparent and safe community based on this partnership."

Park Juhwan, co-CEO of STAT, stated, "The need to distinguish between AI and humans is increasingly important for investor protection in the virtual asset information service ecosystem," and added, "This partnership has helped us address this concern."
