Yoon's Emergency Meeting Proposal... Bitcoin Plummets

The price of Bitcoin (BTC), which was being traded on domestic virtual asset exchanges, plummeted following President Yoon's emergency meeting proposal.

On the 3rd, Bitcoin, which was being traded at around 13 million won on Upbit, plummeted by 9 million won following President Yoon's emergency meeting proposal. After a slight recovery, Bitcoin regained the 12.4 million won level at 11:13 AM that day. The Korean price, compared to the global price, temporarily recorded -25%.

On the other hand, President Yoon urgently briefed today, stating, "To protect the Republic of Korea from the threat of North Korean communist forces, which are undermining our people's freedom and happiness, and to unite the rebellious anti-national forces, an emergency meeting is proposed to protect the freedom and constitutional order."
