The fact that President Yoon Seok-yeol declared an emergency impeachment was interpreted as a measure to warn the Democratic Party, as it was conveyed that there was no intention to actually impeach the National Assembly.

A ruling party official stated on the 4th through a communication outlet, News1, regarding the emergency impeachment declaration, "President Yoon, as the president, showed that the party is too much through the final card of impeachment," he said.

As President Yoon, he explained that it was an inevitable measure to inform the public of the Democratic Party's excessive demands, such as the first appointment of the head of the audit committee, the director of the audit office, and the appointment of the Seoul Central District Prosecutor, and the reduction of the necessary R&D (Research & Development) budget for national growth.

This official stated, "The impeachment declaration was made to protect the constitutional order of the Republic of Korea from anti-national forces that undermine national security," and "as a constitutional defender, such a decision was inevitable to restore liberal democracy and constitutional order."

He continued, "The president declared impeachment according to legal procedures," and "although some government officials opposed this, they ignored the government's intentions and immediately withdrew the troops and lifted the impeachment in the National Assembly."

He added, "While waiting for the government's gathering, he directly informed the people of the withdrawal of troops and the lifting of the impeachment through a second national conversation, etc., and took legal steps."

President Yoon's declaration of impeachment showed that there was no intention to impeach the National Assembly itself after a certain period of time after the troops entered the National Assembly. If there had been an intention to impeach the National Assembly initially, the troops should have been deployed simultaneously with the impeachment declaration.

This official stated that the impeachment declaration was "to warn the party and temporarily suspend political activities that became a monster of democratic destruction in a state where all the president's cards were exhausted," and "it gave the opportunity to directly judge in the National Assembly."

President Yoon also explained that he took such measures knowing that the impeachment would soon be lifted in the National Assembly.
