The NCA stated, "So far, the investigation has revealed that drug cartels, money launderers, and Russian spies have used the fraud network," adding, "They primarily used USDT (Tether) to launder money." Furthermore, the NCA emphasized, "This investigation is the largest fraud case in NCA history," and "we are focusing all our investigative capabilities on tracking the network."
