This week's new unemployment claims in the United States exceeded market expectations.
According to the U.S. Department of Labor's announcement on the 5th (local time), the number of new unemployment claims was 224,000, significantly exceeding the expected 215,000. The number of continued unemployment claims, which have been filed for two consecutive weeks, was 1,871,000, slightly below the expected 1,910,000.
