Creditcoin (CTC), a multi-chain Layer 1 blockchain network building a Real World Asset (RWA) ecosystem, announced on the 6th that it has entered into a strategic partnership with decentralized satellite internet Spacecoin, Layer 1 blockchain SUI, and decentralized storage project Walrus for strategic collaboration.
Creditcoin records loan transaction histories on-chain to provide transparent and reliable credit records. This contributes to providing credit and expanding financial inclusion for people in underdeveloped countries who cannot access banking services. Creditcoin's developer, Gluwa, is participating in the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) project in Nigeria and is also pursuing CBDC project collaborations with other African governments such as Liberia, Sierra Leone, and Ghana.
The partnership aims to help everyone enjoy decentralized financial services through a personalized user-centric internet. Beyond mere technological achievements, it contributes to providing internet connectivity and financial accessibility to underserved regions, helping to bridge the digital divide.
Spacecoin aims to provide internet connectivity to underserved regions through satellite-based decentralized internet. The business is being promoted with the goal of providing services to regions in Africa and Southeast Asia, such as Nigeria, India, and Indonesia. The first satellite, CTC-0, is scheduled to be launched in late December from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California aboard SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket.
SUI is a project focused on developing user-friendly apps and rapid transaction processing based on high performance and scalability using the Move language. Walrus provides decentralized and cost-effective storage solutions.
Regarding this partnership, Oh Tae-rim, CEO of Creditcoin, stated, "SUI's parallel transaction processing capabilities and Walrus protocol's storage can play an important role in supporting nationwide services for Creditcoin and Spacecoin."
Stuart Gardner, CEO of Spacecoin, said, "This collaboration is an important step in helping people connect to the internet and financial tools to participate in the global economy," adding, "We will break down technical barriers so that no one is left behind and provide more people with opportunities for growth and success."
