The claim that President Yoon Suk-yeol will visit the National Assembly on the 6th has been found to be untrue.

A senior official from the Presidential Office stated, "The president has no plans to visit the National Assembly today." A representative who met with President Yoon at the Hannam-dong residence also told reporters at the National Assembly, "It won't happen," in response to questions about the president's visit.

A lawmaker attending the People's Power Party's general meeting said it was "fake news," adding, "It seems the Democratic Party is starting to incite." National Assembly Speaker Woo Won-shik also stated in an emergency declaration, "I have not received any contact about the president visiting the National Assembly."

Previously, rumors circulated in political circles, mainly from the opposition, that President Yoon, after meeting with a representative, would visit the National Assembly to attend the People's Power Party's general meeting. There were also claims that the visit was to persuade for a constitutional amendment to shorten the term, rather than impeachment.

In response, Democratic Party lawmakers posted on Facebook, "He should not dare set foot in the National Assembly. Go back immediately" (Lee So-young), "The Speaker should deny Yoon Suk-yeol entry to the National Assembly" (Choi Min-hee), "Our National Assembly should never allow the leader of a rebellion to enter" (Park Hong-geun). Some opposition lawmakers and aides gathered at the main entrance to block President Yoon's entry to the National Assembly.
