President Yoon Suk-yeol is reported to have moved to the Hannam-dong residence after delivering a public apology speech on the morning of the 7th. President Yoon is expected to hold a meeting with his aides to observe the results of the impeachment motion vote in the afternoon.

The Presidential Office is on high alert regarding the National Assembly situation as the impeachment political climate emerges following the martial law incident. Almost all staff members reported to the Yongsan office, and some aides, including Chief of Staff Jung Jin-seok, were reportedly present at the public speech briefing room. Although Chief Jung and all senior aides had offered their resignations immediately after the martial law incident, they continue to perform their duties in their respective positions for now.

The Presidential Office is only conveying minimal information, such as President Yoon's speech schedule. They also stated that there was no order to arrest major politicians during the martial law declaration. This appears to be a response to claims made by former National Intelligence Service Deputy Director Hong Jang-won during a meeting with the National Assembly Intelligence Committee.

A Presidential Office official stated, "President Yoon never ordered the arrest of major politicians," adding, "The discussion with former Deputy Director Hong about counter-espionage was in the context of dealing with spies."
