On the 10th (local time), U.S. investment media Benzinga reported, "Microsoft shareholders will vote on December 10 on a proposal to consider Bitcoin as a balance sheet asset." However, as the board has clearly expressed opposition, the proposal is expected to have a low chance of passing.

Previously, Michael Saylor, CEO of MicroStrategy, argued, "If Microsoft decides to invest in Bitcoin, it could create $4.9 trillion in value by 2034," adding, "Investing cash, dividends, etc., in Bitcoin can increase corporate growth rates while reducing investor risk."
