Securitize, a platform for tokenizing real assets and security tokens, announced on the 12th (local time) via its official X (formerly Twitter) that Michael Sonnenshein, the former CEO of the virtual asset (cryptocurrency) asset management firm and Bitcoin (BTC) ETF issuer Grayscale, has joined Securitize as Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Previously, Michael Sonnenshein resigned from his CEO position in May, after which Grayscale officially appointed Peter Mintzberg, formerly of Goldman Sachs, as CEO.
