The Ministry of Economy and Finance announced this to the press immediately after the National Assembly passed the impeachment motion against President Yoon Suk-yeol on the 14th.
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance Choi Sang-mok is scheduled to preside over the emergency economic ministers' meeting on the afternoon of the 15th. Following this, a meeting with foreign relations ministers and the F4 meeting will be held consecutively.
The government is expected to announce its intention to proceed with economic policies without disruption despite the passage of President Yoon's impeachment motion. The F4 meeting is anticipated to discuss measures for stabilizing the financial market.
