Summary
- It was reported that Bitcoin reached a new high in the KRW market, touching 146.67 million KRW.

- Some predict that the impeachment will lead to further increases in Bitcoin's price.

Amid the impeachment of President Yoon Suk-yeol, Bitcoin has reached a new high in the KRW market.
On the 15th, Bitcoin surpassed its previous high (146.1 million KRW) on the domestic cryptocurrency exchange Upbit, touching 146.676 million KRW during the day. Currently, Bitcoin is trading at around 146.3 million KRW, up 0.3% from the previous day.
Meanwhile, Bitcoin had plummeted to 88 million KRW following President Yoon's declaration of martial law on the 3rd, but has since recovered its price. Some predict that the impeachment will lead to further increases in Bitcoin's price.
However, despite Bitcoin surpassing its previous high, there is no surge effect due to the 'Kimchi Premium'. This is attributed to the ruling party's public support for the impeachment, making it seem like a predetermined course.
