According to a report by The Block on the 19th (local time), the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission announced that it has approved license permits for four exchanges: HKbitEX, Accumulus, DFX Labs, and X IO.
Hong Kong officially launched a licensing regime for virtual asset trading platforms (VATP) in June 2023 and recently announced plans to expedite the approval process.
