This year, investors have shown significant interest in meme coins, Artificial Intelligence (AI) related coins, and Real World Assets (RWA).

On the 24th, the cryptocurrency data platform CoinGecko revealed in a research report that "the most popular cryptocurrency this year is meme coins, with the top 25 meme coins capturing 30.67% of global investor interest." It particularly noted the popularity of Solana (SOL) based meme coins and cat-themed meme coins.

The report analyzed, "Next, AI-related tokens gained attention, accounting for 15.67% of total investor interest," and noted that "interest in RWA and Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) has also increased compared to last year."

Additionally, it added, "Interest in Solana also recorded a share of 14.3%, with investors continuing to show interest in Solana meme coins and the Solana ecosystem."
