According to the cryptocurrency-focused media U.Today on the 1st (local time), Stani Kulechov, the founder of the decentralized cryptocurrency lending protocol Aave, predicted that Ethereum (ETH) will have a smooth start in 2025.
He stated, "Through the Pectra upgrade starting from the first quarter, unique personal wallets (EOA) will function like smart contracts, leading to the expansion of smart wallets, improved user experience, and enhanced security," adding, "Additionally, the introduction of blob space is expected to flexibly adjust the limits of blobs in the consensus layer, improving Ethereum's data availability (DA) scalability."
He further explained, "This will benefit not only the Ethereum mainnet but also all Layer 2s."
Meanwhile, ETH is trading at $3344.55, down 1.86% from the previous day, as of 01:29 on the 2nd in the Binance Tether (USDT) market.
