Reports have emerged that Rostin Behnam, Chairman of the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), is set to resign on the 20th.
According to the Financial Times (FT) on the 7th, Chairman Behnam of the CFTC is expected to resign on the 20th, the first day of President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration. Previously, Behnam has raised concerns that regulations on Bitcoin (BTC) and other cryptocurrencies remain insufficient. Additionally, Behnam led the crackdown on Binance, imposing fines and causing Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao to step down.
Behnam stated, "Digital assets still have significant unregulated areas within the U.S. regulatory system, and it is important to fill this gap."
