According to data from CoinGlass, a cryptocurrency market data analysis company, a total of $143.74 million was liquidated in the futures market in the last hour. Specifically, long (buy) liquidations accounted for the majority at $125.92 million, while short (sell) liquidations were recorded at $21.35 million.
During the same period, Bitcoin long liquidations amounted to $31.15 million, and Ethereum long liquidations were recorded at $61.77 million.
The price of BTC is trading at $91,204, down 3.83% from the previous day, based on the Binance USDT market at 11:45 PM. Bitcoin expanded its decline on the day, hitting an intraday low of $88,909. In the cryptocurrency futures market, the increase in liquidation volume is expanding volatility.
