Bithumb Acquires International Standard (ISO 22301) Certification for Business Continuity Management System

Bithumb, a domestic virtual asset (cryptocurrency) exchange, announced on the 17th that it has obtained the international standard 'ISO 22301' certification for Business Continuity Management System (BCMS) from the British Standards Institution (BSI), an international certification body.

ISO 22301 is an international standard specification in the field of social safety established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). This certification is granted to companies that have a management system capable of normalizing services through systematic response and rapid recovery in situations where services are interrupted due to various accidents or disasters.

A Bithumb representative stated, "Bithumb deeply recognizes the importance of service continuity and is continuously improving its crisis response system and risk management processes," adding, "We will continue to do our best to provide stable exchange services in any situation."

Meanwhile, Bithumb also holds four international standard certifications in the field of information security and personal information management, in addition to the ISO 22301 certification: ▲ Information Security Management System (ISO 27001) ▲ Personal Information Management System (ISO 27701) ▲ Cloud Service Information Security Management System (ISO 27017) ▲ Cloud Service Personal Information Management System (ISO 27018) and ▲ Information Security and Personal Information Management System (ISMS-P) certification.
