On the 19th, CEO Ju stated on X, "(The Ethereum Foundation overhaul) aligns with Buterin's stance," and added, "I think Ethereum might experience a slump." He further commented, "Buterin chose the path of creating value over making money."
Previously, on the 18th (local time), Buterin announced a leadership overhaul of the Ethereum Foundation. He stated on X, "We are undergoing a major change in the current leadership structure of the Ethereum Foundation," and added, "Lobbying regulatory authorities or political figures is not the goal of the Ethereum Foundation."
In this context, CEO Ju emphasized that the goal of cryptocurrency should be 'value creation.' He stated, "The cryptocurrency industry is at risk of becoming a playground for scammers," and added, "It's a very difficult situation to maintain rationality." He continued, "The purpose of cryptocurrency should be to create value, not to deceive people."
