According to Ellinore Terrett, a Fox Business reporter, the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Texas-based cryptocurrency company Lejilex have filed a request with the court to postpone the oral argument scheduled for February 20. Additionally, both parties have requested that all decisions be deferred until April 11. The SEC explained that "changes in leadership and the establishment of a cryptocurrency task force (TF) could potentially impact the resolution of the case." Previously, Lejilex, along with the lobbying group Crypto Freedom Alliance of Texas, filed a complaint against the SEC in February last year, citing abuse of authority over cryptocurrency.
