According to major foreign media outlets on the 12th (local time), the US Senate passed Director Gabbard's confirmation with 52 votes in favor and 48 against. Director Gabbard officially took office after completing the oath ceremony at the White House on the same day.
Director Gabbard is known to be a cryptocurrency investor holding Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Solana (SOL). She has consistently expressed negative views on Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).
