On the 14th (local time), crypto media The Block, citing quarterly 13F reports filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), reported that global investment bank Barclays holds 2,473,064 shares of BlackRock's Bitcoin spot ETF (IBIT).
This position was acquired in Q4 2024, estimated to have been purchased after President Donald Trump's inauguration. IBIT currently represents approximately 0.04% of Barclays' total portfolio.
