Large-scale Media Artwork Also Showcased at Gwanghwamun Gran Seoul Media Art Wall

Art Token's gallery 'Art Cube 2R2' announced on the 21st that it will hold Park Bang-young's solo exhibition 'I See Me' from the 27th to April 10th.
This exhibition will present Park Bang-young's masterpieces, who has built a unique artistic world by freely crossing between Eastern and Western painting techniques, along with works that capture inner peace and life's meaning found in nature.
Artist Park Bang-young has explored the aesthetic value of nature, expressing it through unique lines and colors. In particular, she has presented works that visualize the vitality of invisible energy by incorporating calligraphic elements with surrealism's automatism and abstract expressionism's action painting techniques.
This exhibition will also showcase digital works created in collaboration with Art Token's NFT studio. The exhibition will feature around 50 works, including a size 200 original painting. Additionally, the works will be displayed on the media art wall of 'Gran Seoul', a Gwanghwamun landmark, viewable through a massive digital screen from late February.
Notably, the exhibition will feature 'Riding a Horse to the Flower Garden', a work reborn through poet Na Tae-joo's lyrical language. Inspired by Park Bang-young's work, poet Na Tae-joo created a poem included in his latest poetry collection 'Today I Go Home Again'. This collaborative work, where painting meets literature, is expected to offer visitors a new appreciation experience.
The exhibition opening reception will be held on Thursday, February 27th at 5 PM, featuring a live painting performance by Park Bang-young. The exhibition continues until April 10th, and more detailed information can be found on Art Cube 2R2 Gallery's official website.
Hong Ji-sook, director of Art Cube 2R2 Gallery, stated, "This exhibition is designed to allow audiences to fully experience and connect with the spring energy during the season through Park Bang-young's work, which delicately expresses the communion between nature and humans," adding "It will also showcase the interpretative power and structural beauty of Eastern painting when rendered digitally, providing an opportunity for visitors to reflect on themselves through nature in the works."
