Personnel Exchange with Ministry of Finance After 8 Years
The Financial Services Commission and the Ministry of Economy and Finance have conducted a personnel exchange at the deputy director level. This is the first personnel exchange between the two ministries in 8 years since 2017.
According to the FSC and others on the 5th, Park Jung-won, head of the Virtual Asset Inspection Division under the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) of the Financial Services Commission, has moved to the Ministry of Finance from today and will serve as the new Policy Planning Division Director. The term of service is one year.
A successor for Director Park has not yet been determined. Park Sung-jin, an officer in the current Virtual Asset Inspection Division, will serve as acting head. Park's acting role will continue until a new Virtual Asset Inspection Division head is appointed.
As Director Park moves to the Ministry of Finance, Yang Yun-young, a deputy director from the Ministry of Finance, has transferred to the FSC. She will serve as the Corporate Restructuring Division Director in the Financial Policy Bureau for one year. Previously, the FSC issued internal personnel orders and placed the former Corporate Restructuring Division Director Jung Jong-sik on standby at the Restructuring Policy Office headquarters.
