According to Santiment, a virtual asset (cryptocurrency) data analytics firm on the 8th, whales reportedly accumulated 1.1 million Ethereum over the past 48 hours.
The ETH price is trading at $2,132 as of 5:30 PM, down 2.28% from the previous day, based on the Binance USDT market.
Previously, the U.S. government announced that it would pursue strategic reserves of Bitcoin but would not purchase virtual assets with taxes, disappointing the market. The Digital Asset Summit also failed to meet market expectations again, causing prices to turn downward.
