The Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE) has reportedly submitted an application for Fidelity's Ethereum (ETH) ETF staking.

On the 11th (local time), Solid Intel announced via X that "CBOE has submitted an application to allow staking for Fidelity's Ethereum ETF."

There are also predictions that if staking is allowed for Ethereum ETFs, institutional investor inflows will accelerate.

Previously, Ruslan Lienkha, market manager at YouHodler, said in an interview with The Block, "If staking is allowed for Ethereum ETFs, Ethereum will provide additional revenue opportunities," adding that "it could attract more market liquidity."

Analysts at global investment bank Bernstein have also analyzed that "if Trump paves the way for Ethereum staking ETFs, the current Ethereum staking yield of 3% could rise to 4%-5%."

Upon this news, Ethereum momentarily surged by 4.58%. However, it has since slightly declined and is currently trading at $1,917 on Binance's USDT market as of 10:37 PM.
