The media explained, "The stablecoin-related bills that the committee needs to discuss include the Federal Reserve Bank (Fed) CBDC issuance restriction bill proposed by Representative Tom Emmer, and regulations from the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) targeting technology companies that provide payment apps and digital wallets."
Previously, US President Donald Trump stated during his White House Crypto Summit speech that he "wants the stablecoin bill to pass before the August recess."
