On the 12th (local time), Bitwise analyst Ryan Rasmussen announced via X that "Bitcoin purchases by listed companies last year were twice as much as the total purchases of all previous years combined" and that "currently, more than 70 companies hold $52 billion worth of Bitcoin." He added, "This represents about 3% of the total Bitcoin supply" and "eventually, governments will also start buying Bitcoin."
