XRP Records Highest Trading Volume on Upbit..."Expectations Rise for Ripple-SEC Lawsuit Conclusion"

Trading volume for XRP has recently shown a significant increase on Upbit, a domestic cryptocurrency exchange.

According to cryptocurrency data platform CoinGecko on the 14th, XRP trading volume on Upbit recorded $634.44 million (approximately 921.8 billion won) over the past 24 hours. As of today, XRP's price is trading at 3,384 won on Upbit, up 1.44% from the previous day.

Recently, investors have been focusing their attention on Ripple as news emerged that its lawsuit with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is entering its final stages. Eleanor Terrett, a Fox Business reporter, cited anonymous sources on her X (formerly Twitter) account on the 13th (local time), reporting that Ripple is engaged in settlement negotiations with the SEC.

Additionally, Ripple announced that it has obtained an official regulatory license from the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA). These positive developments appear to have contributed to the surge in XRP trading volume.

Meanwhile, other cryptocurrencies with high trading volumes on Upbit during the same period included Bitcoin (BTC), Solayer (LAYER), OfficialTrump (TRUMP), and Bounce Token (AUCTION).
