Chainlink (LINK) has completed its quarterly token unlock.
According to on-chain analyst EmberCN on the 14th (local time), out of the 19 million LINK ($262 million) released this time, 14,875,000 (approximately $205 million) were transferred to Binance. The remaining amount (4,125,000) was sent to a multisig address.
Chainlink regularly unlocks 10-20 million LINK every three months, with a significant portion flowing into Binance. Some are moved to multisig addresses or used to pay LINK staking rewards.
Since 2022, a total of 163.65 million LINK (approximately $1.81 billion) has been unlocked with an average transfer price of $11.06. As of 10:55 AM today, LINK is trading at $13.8 on Binance's Tether (USDT) market, up 4.63%.
