Pi Network (PI) has announced three new updates to mark its 6th anniversary since launch.

According to cryptocurrency media Cryptopolitan on the 15th, Pi Network announced on the 14th that it has introduced a .pi domain auction system, ecosystem interface revamp, and a shopping event called 'Pi Fest' to celebrate its 6th anniversary.

First, users can register personal homepage addresses on the Pi Network through the .pi domain auction system. The ecosystem interface is also being revamped for developers.

Additionally, Pi Fest is an event designed to activate transactions between users and merchants, running from the 14th to the 21st of this month. Currently, over 100,000 merchants are registered, and more than 49,000 sellers are listed on the 'Map of Pi' platform.

Meanwhile, the PI price is showing a short-term downward trend. As of 8:05 PM today, according to CoinMarketCap, PI is trading at $1.46, down 18.9% compared to the previous day. The media explained, "PI is experiencing a downward trend due to technical issues that occurred during the recent mainnet migration process."
