A poll shows that the majority of American voters oppose the Trump administration's 'strategic cryptocurrency reserve' plan.

On the 15th, cryptocurrency media outlet The Block cited a survey by the progressive polling organization 'Data for Progress', reporting that "51% of respondents opposed the government's cryptocurrency reserve plan," while "34% were in favor, and 15% withheld their opinion."

By party affiliation, support (41%) and opposition (40%) were evenly split among Republican supporters, while Democratic supporters showed clear partisan differences with 59% opposing and only 29% supporting.

The media outlet added, "This shows that cryptocurrency remains a controversial issue among US politicians and the public," and "If the Trump administration's Bitcoin reserve strategy becomes a reality, debates surrounding it are likely to intensify."
