Price Forecast & Global Trends Sharing

Since the inauguration of the Donald Trump administration, Bitcoin prices have been on a roller coaster. At the same time, Bitcoin is gaining traction as an asset to the extent that it is being considered for strategic reserve assets in the United States. This is why this year is expected to be a significant turning point for the virtual asset market.

The Korea Economic Daily, which has been proactively capturing and reporting changes in the virtual asset market, will hold the 'Virtual Asset Investment Insight Forum 2025' for the first time this year. The event, to be held on the 25th at the Conrad Hotel in Yeouido, Seoul, will feature domestic and international experts discussing this year's Bitcoin price forecast, the future of virtual assets, and innovation possibilities.

Kim, who served as Vice Minister of Strategy and Finance and Vice Chairman of the Financial Services Commission, is recognized as an individual with an excellent understanding of traditional finance and virtual assets in Korea.

Jongseop Lee, a professor of business administration at Seoul National University, will lecture on 'Changes and Innovations Brought by Stablecoins.' Professor Lee will share strategies Korea should adopt, given that the digitalization of traditional finance using blockchain is an inevitable technological trend.

Rahul Advani, Head of Policy for Asia-Pacific at Ripple, which develops and operates XRP (formerly Ripple), the 4th largest virtual asset by market cap, will present on 'Trends in the Rapidly Changing Global Cryptocurrency Market.'
