Previously, President Donald Trump nominated Brian Quintenz, a16z's cryptocurrency policy head, as chairman of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).
Miles Jennings will continue negotiations on legislation related to stablecoins and market structure, one of the key tasks of his predecessor, Brian Quintenz.
