Eric Balchunas, Bloomberg's senior ETF analyst, announced on the 19th (local time) via X (formerly Twitter) that US fund manager Volatility Shares will launch a Solana (SOL) futures exchange-traded fund (ETF) on the 20th (local time).
This will be the first SOL futures ETF in the US, tracking Solana futures prices. A 2x leveraged Solana ETF is also scheduled to launch simultaneously.
