"Ethereum Drops 13% on Binance Delisting Rumor"…CZ "Not True at All"
Summary
- Rumors of Ethereum being delisted from Binance spread, causing Ethereum's price to drop by 13%.
- CZ strongly refuted the rumor, sending a warning message to those who believe it.
- Although the rumor was clarified, Ethereum's price continues to decline, and investors are advised to be cautious.

Changpeng Zhao (CZ), former CEO of Binance, dismissed the rumors of Ethereum (ETH) being delisted.
On the 29th, cryptocurrency-focused media outlet CoinPedia reported, "Following the introduction of Binance's new listing voting system, the misunderstanding that Ethereum could be delisted rapidly spread among the community," adding, "The selling pressure intensified particularly among investors using Binance, and Ethereum's price fell below the $1900 mark."
In response, CZ directly refuted the rumor on the 28th (local time) via X (formerly Twitter), stating, "Anyone who believes the Ethereum delisting rumor deserves to be poor," in a rather strong tone. Despite CZ's dismissal of the rumor, Ethereum's price appears to continue its downward trend.
As of 23:58 on this day, the ETH price is trading at $1845 on the Binance USDT market, down 2.11% from the previous day.
