Bitcoin(BTC) is maintaining a relatively calm trend, defending the 120 million won (83,000 dollars on Binance) level despite concerns over U.S. tariff policies and the acceptance of President Yoon Seok-yeol's impeachment.
According to the domestic virtual asset (cryptocurrency) exchange Upbit, the price of Bitcoin is trading at 122,157,000 won as of 3:35 PM today, down 0.88% from the previous day. Even just before the Constitutional Court's impeachment acceptance decision, Bitcoin was trading around 123 million won.
Some expected increased volatility in the domestic virtual asset market following the impeachment result announcement, but in reality, it showed a stable trend without sharp price fluctuations. In December last year, during the declaration of martial law, Bitcoin plummeted more than 30% domestically, and the Kimchi Premium expanded to 32.4%.
According to Cryprice today, the Kimchi Premium for major virtual assets (cryptocurrencies) including Bitcoin(BTC) is about 2.38%.
