On the 7th (local time), Walter Bloomberg announced on X that "Pakistan has appointed Changpeng Zhao as a strategic advisor to the Virtual Asset Committee." As a result, Changpeng Zhao is expected to provide guidance on the adoption of virtual assets, infrastructure development, and technology regulation in Pakistan.

According to local media, Muhammad Aurangzeb, Pakistan's Minister of Finance, stated, "Pakistan is ready to innovate," and expressed that "with Changpeng Zhao's joining, Pakistan will become a strong nation in Web3, blockchain-based development, and digital finance."
