On the 9th (local time), Eleanor Terrett, host of 'Crypto in America', reported via X (formerly Twitter) that Paul Atkins, nominee for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chairman, passed the Senate floor vote with 51 votes in favor and 45 against.
A final vote in the House is expected to follow.
