Global cryptocurrency exchange Kraken is launching trading services for 11,000 US stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
On the 14th, cryptocurrency-focused media CoinQ reported, "Kraken's subsidiary, Kraken Securities, is launching commission-free trading services for US stocks and ETFs in certain states such as New Jersey, Connecticut, and Wyoming." With this trading support, Kraken users can easily cross-trade cryptocurrencies and stocks on the same platform.
Arjun Sethi, Co-CEO of Kraken, stated, "Cryptocurrencies are not just evolving but are becoming the foundational infrastructure for cross-asset trading," adding, "Kraken's entry into the stock market is a step towards asset tokenization, and Kraken will continue to lead this change."
