Solayer (LAYER), a Solana (SOL) restaking protocol, announced the launch of a new cryptocurrency debit card built on its own infrastructure, Solayer InfiniSVM. According to The Block, a cryptocurrency-focused media outlet, on the 15th (local time), this card, called the 'Emerald Card', allows users to make payments directly with cryptocurrency without the need to exchange for fiat currency. The Emerald Card is set to be launched in 100 countries, including the United States, and integrates with the tap-and-pay (contactless payment) features of Apple Pay and Android Pay.
