Quantum computer developer Project Eleven is offering Bitcoin (BTC) as a prize to developers who can crack the core technology of cryptocurrency.
On the 17th (local time), Project Eleven announced on its official X account that it would establish the 'Q-Day Prize'. Project Eleven plans to award the Q-Day Prize to developers who can crack Elliptic Curve Cryptography (ECC), one of the core technologies of Bitcoin, using quantum computing technology.
The prize is 1 Bitcoin. According to CoinMarketCap, Bitcoin is trading at around $84,000 as of today.
