Richard Teng, CEO of Binance, stated that he is "providing advice to several countries regarding Bitcoin (BTC) reserves."
In an interview with the Financial Times (FT) on the 17th (local time), CEO Teng said, "Several governments and sovereign wealth funds have inquired about creating virtual asset reserves," and "we are advising several governments on strategic Bitcoin reserves." CEO Teng added, "(The United States) is far ahead in this field."
Regarding the headquarters establishment plan, CEO Teng said, "We are working very hard." Binance, which pursues a decentralized structure, does not clearly disclose the location of its headquarters. CEO Teng stated, "(Establishing a headquarters) requires in-depth discussion," and "we hope to announce Binance's intentions regarding the headquarters establishment soon."
