'Hacking Victim' KiloEx "Compensation Plan in Progress... Liquidity Recovery is Top Priority"

KiloEx(KILO), which recently suffered a hacking attack, is working on compensating its users.

On the 17th, KiloEx announced through its official X account that "fundraising and compensation planning related to the hacking incident are currently underway" and that "restoring user liquidity is the top priority." KiloEx stated, "Once the compensation plan is finalized, we also plan to gradually restore the vault function." Previously, KiloEx was reported to have suffered damages amounting to $7 million due to a vault hacking attack on the 15th.

The possibility of internal involvement in the hacking was also mentioned. KiloEx stated, "The hacking incident has been officially reported to the Hong Kong police and accepted as an official investigation case," adding, "If there had been internal involvement, the police would not have officially accepted or cooperated with the case." They further stated, "We are working with the Hong Kong police and others to track the hacker," and "The police have full access to KiloEx's internal data and information."
