North Korean hackers have been found to be targeting Web3 developers to gain access to wallets.
According to Cointelegraph on the 17th, some Web3 developers recently received coding tests from North Korean hackers impersonating recruiters. These coding tests are known to be used for spreading malware. Specifically, when a developer opens the coding test, malware that can infiltrate the system is installed.
It appears that the hackers are targeting developers' system access rights. Hakan Unal, head of the Security Operations Center at Cyvers, a security company, told Cointelegraph, "Hackers often try to steal developers' account information or access codes," explaining that they are targeting "SSH keys, iCloud Keychain, and wallet access rights."
