The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has reportedly withdrawn its lawsuit against the blockchain infrastructure project Dragonchain (DRGN).

On the 25th, the cryptocurrency-focused media Crypto in America reported, "The SEC has decided to voluntarily withdraw the lawsuit filed in 2022 against Dragonchain for unregistered securities sales through a joint submission with Dragonchain."

Joe Roets, founder of Dragonchain, stated in an interview, "The unfair situation that lasted for seven years has ended. We have now regained the right to innovate without fear."

Immediately after the news broke, the price of the DRGN token surged up to 120% in a single day. According to CoinMarketCap, the DRGN price is trading at $0.08031, up 115.32% from the previous day.
